Our clan
These are the basic things you should know about our clan:
Navigator (Nav) and Savrav (rav) our this clan's founders. They also make up our clan name (Nav)+(rav).
This clan started in 2012 around November/December.
Daniel Kreeg and DiamondsareMine became leaders after Navigator became less active and stopped playing.
Elder is EARNED we do not give our elder for free. You must be loyal, respectful. and trustworthy. You must also recruit often and donate a good amount of troops. (For people who think 100 is alot... IT IS NOT ALOT) Elder doesn't mean you can fool around by kicking random people. It is a status of respect and trust. You must earn it and if you got it for no reason because you just wanted it, it will not mean anything special.
Elder is chosen carefully and we are very picky who gets to be one so don't ask us or it will decrease your chances of geting elder or get kicked.
Only recruit people over Lvl 60 or sometimes even Lvl55+
You must donate half of what you received. (Its easy, if you think its too hard to donate half of what your received because you received too much, don't complain, you can stop requesting.
Do NOT donate giants/wallbreakers unless asked.
If you have something like lvl 3 troops, dont be greedy and ask for lvl 6. Same goes for things like pekkas
We are NOT named after the player navravclan, he is named after us

Be patient and Save your gems!
We all know the feeling of boredom. Its hard to wait a few days for a upgrade or wait for some troops to train. Believe me, you don't know boredom until you are at my level. At this lvl things are over 10 days to upgrade. You got to get used to the feeling and save up for more important things like maybe a important building is for sale for a limited time or you need to raid a guy real fast because he has 1 million gold. What you want to do with your gems is save them up for builders. Builders can be a great push in your game. Although expensive, it is truly worth the gems used to get one. Even just one extra builder can dramtically change where you stand as a future clasher. Lets say you are lvl 80 now and you didn't save up your gems and got only 2 builder huts in your life. In that time with 5 builder huts maybe you got to 100 or maybe 110! Who knows! Since exp gets harder to earn every level it doesn't mean a level 40 is 2x better than a lvl 20. A level 40 can be 3x better or maybe even 4x. As you level up even 5 levels can mean you are 10x better.
Know your troop tiers!
Tiers are how we organize what kind of troops we are talking about.
Tier 1 troops are very powerful in hordes, but this makes them vurnerable to Splash damage buildings since they damage multiple troops at a time. Tier one troops are : Barbarians, Archers and Goblins
Tier 2 troops are more powerful than tier 1 but not as good as tier 3 troops. Most of them have specialized targets. Tier two troops consists of : Giants, Wallbreakers, Balloons, and Wizards
Tier 3 troops are very powerful and take up alot of space in the army camps. They are a great part of an army and can completely destroy a base. However the cost for these troops are massive. Tier three troops are: Healers, Dragons, and Pekkas
Upgrade Splash damage buildings first
I know cannons can be so much cheaper than motars and wizard towers but they can take out multiple troops at a time! This is very useful strategy when building a base. At the lower levels there aren't alot of people with tier 3 troops or maybe some with no tier 2. They do not have alot of hp and cannons would be bad at attacking because people would send like 50 at a time. Cannons, Archer Towers and Teslas are good for attacking tier three troops because of their damage amount of damage. But, like i said, most people at Lvl 40 don't have tier 3 troops so you would be better off with splash damage troops. If a Pekka were to show, which is highly unlikely a cannon, archer tower or teslas would be good at attacking them since they do alot of damage but bad at attacking barbarian hordes.
How to attack
An army consists of 3 or sometimes 4 groups. Knowing them are an important part of attacking.
First group is what i like to call Tanks. Tanks are good at taking damage. They have alot of hp but they lack damage. They serve as a meat shield in attacks to protect the other more important groups in the back that do more damage. Example of these are Golems and Giants.
The second group, I call middle group. They are the main attackers of the army. These troops have a decent amount of hp and tend to be melee. They go after the Tanks. Example of these are Barbarians, Minions, Hog Riders, Goblins, Balloons, Dragons, and Pekkas
I call the third group the long ranged troops. They Have low hp and should be in the back of your army to avoid getting them killed. Wizards are a great example of this because they deal a massive amount of damage but have a little hp. Example of these are Archers and Wizards and Witches. The reason witches are in this list is because they shoot things from far away.
The forth group is kind of troop is kind of tricky and they do not fit into any group because they can be sent out at anytime depending on the situation. They can be sent out at the first group if needed or sent out or on the third group and do not fight. If used in the right time they can bevery useful. Examples of these are Wallbreakers and Healers.
All these groups are needed for a good raid except for the forth group which is optional.
Now you know how you should attack. But, where and what do you attack?
You should attack close to where there are alot of splash buildings. Use your Tanks and middle group here. Then after a few seconds use the third group. When you start healing or rage spells can be used to help you destroy these buildings. With the healing spells try to keep the tanks alive. When you do this don't throw all your troops at once. Leave a few as a backup so when you are in trouble you can use it. Also try to save troops to pick off the building outside. Especially the Mines and Pumps that people leave out. The mines and pumps of inactiev people give MASSIVE amounts of loot. If the person is inactive enough, they give even more money than the storages can ever give. A good example of this is in the records where i found someone with 1.25 million both resources. A great way to check if a person has more money inside his/her mines and pumps is to look in the dark elixir storages. Or you can check for this by looking at the amount of money a person has. If he has alot but his/her storages arent full then most likely the look is all in the mine and pumps.
Saving up for buildings
At Lvl 40 and below it is not too hard to gather resources. But these tips will help you save up for what you want to upgrade in the future. You should always check on how much money you consume each raid. Add up all your elixir you use up to train your army with a caculator. This is how you check on how much loot you will need to gain a successful profit. Once you caculated your army usage, add 25,000-75,000 to this. This is around how much loot you will want to find every raid. It'll take a few raids to get what you need for an upgrade so try to make your shield useful! If you have a 16 hr shield, you should save up the shield for a bit, dont waste it! Also when you want to sacifice some throphies for loot and protection in the night leave your town hall out before you sleep! People will most likely only attack your town hall and end battle so you can have a 12 hr shield to protect you in the night.
Thanks for reading! I hope this helped you alot! I will add more to this guide in the future.
